BEAVER COUNTY FREE FAIR 2006
—Schedule of Events—
Pre-entries are due by Monday, August 28th, but will be taken in all Departments at the OSU Extension Office thru Tuesday, September 5th. Exhibit tags will be printed so that all one needs to do is attach and bring to the “fair” Thursday.
Thursday, September 7
Exhibits not pre-entered will be taken in All Departments Except Livestock 9:00am-8:00pm. Commercial Exhibitors set up in Commercial Bldg 9:00am-8:00pm. 4-H Food Show Entries Taken 4:00-6:00pm. 4-H Food Show Judging Contest 4:00-9:30pm 4-H Quality of Standards Judging Contest 4:00-9:30pm. Horse Show Entries 4:30pm. Horse Show 5:00pm. 4-H Food Show Items Judged 6:00pm.
Friday, September 8
All entries judged except Livestock 9:00am. Commercial Exhibitors must be set up. 2:00pm Commercial & Exhibit Buildings Open. 2:00-7:00pm Queen Contestant Interviews. 6:00pm
Saturday, September 9
Livestock Entries 8:00-9:00am. Kiddie & Fair Parade 11:00am. Commercial & Exhibit Buildings Open 11:00am-6:00pm. Free Hotdog Feed 11:30am-1:00pm (sponsored by OSU Extension Office & Beaver County Fairboard). Jr & Open Beef Show (Brady Show Arena) 12:00 noon. Immediately Followed by Bucket Calf, Sheep, Goats & Swine (Livestock released at conclusion of Swine Show). “4-H Quality of Standards” Judging Contest 12:00-1:00pm. Freeze Out (Ice Cream Contest) 1:00pm. Queen Horsemanship 1:00pm. Release Exhibits & Premium Money Presented 3:00pm. Ranch Rodeo Meal (Bank of Beaver) 4:30pm. Parade of Queen Contestants & Crowning 4:30pm, Saddle donated by First Security Bank. Immediately followed by Ranch Competition & Bull Riding.

Here is a partial listing of the 2005 Beaver County Free Fair results that we have received so far.

Parker/Finley Ranch came away from the Beaver County Free Fair Rodeo with a win over 14 other ranches in this area.

Team members were: Kevin Parker, Danny Finley, Reuben Parker, Garrison Nippert and Steve Parker.

Lisa Christensen of Clearlake was named the 2005 Beaver County Free Fair queen before the Ranch Rodeo Saturday evening.

Her court included Dalee Parker, 2004 Queen; Larissa Jett of Logan, Sasha Allard of Balko, Sadie Campbell of Beaver, Laura Schlehofer of Beaver. Shayla Applegate of Balko, Holli Randolph of Balko, Abigail Parker of Beaver and Randa Depew of Beaver.
